In a nutshell:
Sosnówka is a large and highly fragmented village situated on the border between the Karkonosze Foothills and the Jelenia Góra Basin, not far from Jelenia Góra. Its upper part borders directly on Karpacz. The village has an intimate atmosphere, offering the chance to commune with nature, whilst also providing good transport links and access to local attractions. The surrounding area features numerous walking and cycling routes, a reservoir with a viewpoint, and recreational areas.
Sosnówka is a convenient base for exploring the Karkonosze Mountains. From the village itself, you can set off along the black trail via the Podgórna Waterfall to Przesieka, or take the yellow trail towards the charming St Anne’s Chapel. The best vantage points are located around the Sosnówka Reservoir, on the hills and at the historic ruins: Prince Henry’s Castle (Góra Grodna). The region is renowned for cycling tourism (famous singletrack and enduro trails), numerous equestrian centres and thermal pools.

Restaurants and inns in the area serve regional specialities, classics of Polish cuisine and traditional Silesian dishes. The region is home to authentic fish-frying establishments with numerous trout farms (Sosnówka, Podgórzyn, Mysłakowice).
